Well-planned redundancy is necessary in order to ensure high availability of service, and thanks to subregions you can achieve the same level of redundancy that ensures physical separateness as dedicated servers while retaining all the benefits of using the cloud.
Cloud computing platform Oktawave on a physical level consists of computing clusters. Clusters are mutually physically separable in the area of one data center. This applies to every internal aspect of the cluster:
The point of contact between the clusters is a physical connection to the Internet - routers and nodes of exchange traffic.
In Oktawave users have the possibility of manually select an area of accessibility, which consists of individual clusters and storage nodes. Such physically separable availability zones defines the term subregion.
This approach allows our customers to better planning solutions for high availability (HA ), effective management of allocated resources and greater control over the reliability of applications running in the Oktawave cloud Oktawave.
