How does quick configuration work?
Posted by on 05.09.2012 11:25

Do you want to quickly and easily run your application in the Oktawave cloud? Use our intuitive configuration and presets wizard. Your website will be built in a few minutes!

Configurator can be found on the main page Oktawave.com.

After selecting the type of web application go to the configurator. At the bottom of the page (area marked in the screenshot) is a menu where you can select a specific application type.

Once you have selected the appropriate application, set its parameters. At first it will be good if you are aware how often users visit your site. Please note that this parameter affects the number of virtual processors and the size of the disk.
For instance, if you find that your site attendance is normal, you get two virtual processors and the minimum disk size is automatically set to 25 GB.

With the increase of visits by one degree a growing number of virtual processors and the size of the disk. We developed a mechanism deliberately, so as to guarantee you that enough resources will always be matched to the expected traffic.

The last parameter, which you can change, is the Monthly outgoing data transfer.

To the right of the choice of the parameters you will find more information about the instance (the amount of RAM, processors, operating system and disk size).

When you change the parameters of the instance, Oktawave will also change its price. This happens immediately.

After selecting the appropriate parameters, click Lunch it now!. You can also always go to the advanced configuration.

When you select Go To Admin Panel, you will see the login page where you can also register new account. After you login to Oktawave panel you can manage your chosen application.
